As for X...That's a book I need to re-read. I got my dad to read it years ago and his response was, "Everyone in America needs to read this book." And the only civil rights leader I MIGHT hero-worship more than Malcolm X is Fred Hampton. (Who died around age 21.) Heard of him?

Isn't 'A Thousand Splendid Suns' by the same author of The Kite Runner. I heard it was extremely good.
